The Chinese call their political system a democracy. They mixed capitalism with communism for the sake of the State.

Iranians  calls their political system a democracy. They mixed the Islamic Jafari school of thought with democratic ideal.

Israelis also calls their political system a democracy while Palestinians are not part of that democracy. They mixed Zionism ( A political system only for the Jews)with western political ideas.

Americans also calls their political system a democracy while we all know it is a capitalist democracy in which many people do not have health insurance or many people in one of the most productive, most richest state in the union such as California live in poverty.

All these political system think and are convinced that democracy is a political system that people vote for their government and that is what democracy is all about.

Farid Younos, the author of "Islamic democracy" proposes a political system that truly people are in charge not the communist like China, not capitalist like the United States, not Zionist like in Israel, and not Mullahs like in Iran, but people in general rich and poor, all religious denomination, all groups.

Islamic democracy means people are in charge not just Muslims .
